Easing into the routine

Well, here we are -- day four of our back to school schedule. I have to say, I like it. My husband and son leave and I've actually had a bit of quiet time each morning so far. My youngest must have decided to give me a break for a few days and has been sleeping about half an hour later than usual. Not much of one -- but nonetheless a break! I'll take it!

I say I like the schedule so far, but I'm wondering if I'll change my mind in another week or so. So far, my oldest is back to school, but my daughter hasn't started her pre-school schedule. And we are just starting soccer practices this week and my son will start religious education classes in about two weeks. This will make us quite a bit busier and then, the schedule may not be so appealing. We'll see.

I am so anxious for Fall weather. Now that we live in the Southeast, I'm sure I'll have to wait a while. I hate to admit it, but I'm not much of a summer weather girl. I like it for a while, then I'm ready for it to go away. I would be perfectly happy with 12 months of Fall!

This change in routine is also making me anxious to work on some projects around the house. Now if I could just find the time. And winning the lottery might help too. (Of course in order to win, I guess I'd have to play!)

Okay -- I'm pretty boring today. (I know, I know -- I'm pretty boring most days! LOL)

Enjoy the day!
