I haven't shared a scrapbook page in a while, so I thought I'd share this one. The photo is my daughter with her two very cute best friends! (I am sure you will agree if you're reading this Wendy!!) I worked on this page throughout the day Saturday, justifying my scrapping time because it was Mother's Day weekend. I decided I could goof off a bit if I wanted. But as I look around my crazy messy house and at the piles of laundry today.... I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. But Mondays are for catching up usually, so I guess it's okay.I am in love with the paper on this page. I have always been addicted to paper -- even before I was a scrapbooker. I have always loved notebooks and stationery and construction paper. I don't know what it is -- there is just something about pretty, colorful paper that I love! My daughter seems to have inherited this trait and even my oldest son loves to collect little notebooks. Must be genetic. :)
Hope you all had a nice Mother's Day. We went to church, out to lunch and then planted flowers that my kids gave me as my present. We had a family movie night last night and watched "Ratatouille". It was a nice, relaxing family day.
Sorry for the boring post, but I simply MUST get going on the laundry before it multiplies even more.
