Wow -- I just looked at the date of my last post and had no idea it had been so long since I've updated my blog.
This month has absolutely FLOWN by and honestly, I think I may be in denial that it's November next week already. I have such a love/hate relationship with this time of the year. I love the Fall -- love September and October. Love the holidays in November and December. But my goodness -- why does it have to go speeding by every year? Makes me nuts.
We have had company for about thirteen days this month -- first my mother-in-law and father-in-law, followed by a visit by my sister-in-law. We had a great time, but I knew it would make this month seem to go even faster. And now we are all quite tired. We went to Dollywood, Chuck E. Cheese, bowling, the park, the pumpkin patch, shopping, out to dinner several times -- etc., etc., etc. I need to find a hide out and sleep for several days to refuel I think. And I need to hire a maid! (hee hee)
I also turned 37 in the midst of all this craziness. That's a post for another day.
I thought I'd share some photos of what happens when Nannie and Pops come to visit. My children get mighty spoiled with love, attention and the occassional gift (including lollipops the size of their heads!) The hubby and I get pretty spoiled ourselves.
Alright -- gotta run. My dirty house needs some attention -- and I'm afraid there is no maid coming. Enjoy the rest of October -- it will be over before you know it!
