I'm thinking...

I may delete my blog. Just because I've been really, really bad about updating it and just haven't been in the mood to blog in quite a while.

Life on a Desert Island...

Well, the first time I typed my title I put "dessert" island....oops! Although that wouldn't be so bad either! Ha!

Back to the desert island...last night my husband was playing a game with the kids. Asking, "If you had to go live on a desert island and could only bring one food to eat forever, what would it be?" My oldest opted for pizza -- my daughter picked Cheetos. I'm quite sure if my youngest could tell us, he would have chosen chicken nuggets. He then asked them a few more questions -- one was if they could take just one person, who would they choose. They all chose me. Isn't that the sweetest? They sure know how to make me smile!

Today, I would relish a desert island all by myself. My poor children have been sick (including the dog). I have them all home today and the youngest is much better and the other two are well on their way (I think -- don't want to jinx myself). I am pretty tired and unfortunately, slightly irritable. I'm trying really hard not to be, but it's just one of those days. I would love to have my house to myself for two days (heck, I'd take one!), just to "sterilize" it and try to get caught up on a few things. And how I would love some peace and quiet. Ahhhhh.....

(And please don't take this as me complaining. I'm not. Just thinking/dreaming out loud!)

And now, I hear my children screaming, so you are rid of me for today. Feel free to enjoy some peace and quiet in my honor -- I'm quite sure I'm not getting any!
