I don't know if this will crack you up as much as it did me, but last night, I took my son to Cub Scouts and when I got home, my daughter had written me a nice little "love" note on a napkin. Can you read what it says?? I like pigs. I love U Mommy. (LOL!)
I am not sure whether or not I should be offended. What thought process made her think of pigs -- and me -- all at the same time?? Hmmmm.....better not think about it for too long! Actually, she is in kindergarten and enjoying learning to sound out and spell new words all the time. I think she was very excited to sound out and spell the word "pig" all on her own, so she included it in my note. Is that the funniest thing or what?
Today, the kids are home from school and it has been one of those days when I almost wish they were at school. They are bickering, moody and then when they were playing nicely together, they made up a game that Ryan named "battle of the loudmouths" -- which sadly, was quite accurate. All three of the kids were making as much noise as possible to see who could be the loudest. And guess what? In my book, they ALL won. I considered making them stop, but they were having fun and it was better than the bickering. I then took them to the grocery store which was not awful, but not pleasant. I think when my husband gets home, I may run screaming from the house.
(Okay, it's not THAT bad, but really -- I have had that "Calgon take me away" feeling quite a bit today!)
Alright...I guess I should go before all heck breaks loose again. Hope you're enjoying your day. Sorry I missed my RAK prompt this week -- I'll do one again soon.
Happy Tuesday!

I hope your able to take a breather sometime tonight. I'm sure you need it. LOL Now, the napkin note is just to darn cute, and actually you should take it as a big warm love note, you know she loves pigs, so she is just showing you the two things that means the most to her. I think it is sweet! Now about this new game they have created, that's another story. I believe you have more patience then I would have, or you would see me sitting outside, while they were indoors doing their "loud" contest. LOL Oh and keep up with the great music video's. I love them, and this was a favorite of mine that is playing right now. Love Seal. Now to think of it, I have love everyone you have put on here. Great taste in music Ms. Rita!
I have that "Calgon take me away" feeling on a regular basis these days :0p Ok maybe today wasn't to bad, but yesterday for sure :0)
(hugs) you win the prize for super-mom! there is no way that I would have let them continue that game...lol! the note is very sweet! smiles...
Well pigs are cute and so are you! Hey, it's the thought that counts right? And she was spelling, how cool is that? I remember when I could spell something without help for the first time...it was a total power trip...like I could do anything.

I have been patiently waiting for a new post..wasn't disappointed. So funny about the pigs...kids are the best!
I also was cracking up at your feelings about the school vacation day. I was just saying to my friend on the phone yesterday, "It is so awesome to sleep in, but I just wish that I could take the kids to school from about 12-3, so that I don't have to put up with their antsy-ness. Ugh!
Everytime I check your blog and see that note from your daughter, I crack up!!! I don't know why, it just strikes me as funny.
