Okay 80s music fans -- I think I've come up with a tough one today -- even though with Google at your fingertips, I suppose nothing is TOO tough. But before you resort to Google -- do you think you remember who is the 80s artist responsible for today's post title??? Kind of obscure -- but an 80s band, nonetheless!(And Jen -- you are the first to name Duran Duran from yesterday, so into the drawing you go!)
Today (since I've decided I'm King for a Day -- ha ha) I am paying it forward. Again, sweet Carolyn tagged me with an excellent blog award and I must now award it to ten other blogs. The "official rules" state: By accepting this Excellent Blog Award, you have to award it to 10 more people whose blogs you find Excellent Award worthy. You can give it to as many people as you want-even those that have received it already, but please award at least 10 people.
Now as I have always said with these awards, it's hard for me to limit to just ten, because I love all of your blogs and visiting with each of you. But for today I will choose:
1. Alice -- because I KNOW she loves a good blog award and this one comes with an icon! LOL Plus she makes me laugh and has no problem saying exactly what's on her mind - which I admire, because I am not always like that!
2. Christi -- because she inspires me with her work and is just an all around wonderful person. Plus it's awfully fun to see pictures of that darling little baby girl of hers!
3. Linda -- because she really is an amazing artist and I love to see what she is up to!
4. Carolyn -- I have to award it right back at Carolyn because she is a special friend and I love to keep up with her through her blog. And she too, creates some really great things!
5. Dawn -- because anyone with a blog named Lime Scraparita has to be cool, right? I know if we lived closer to each other, we would surely be sharing the occasional pitcher of margaritas! ;)
6. Amber -- this girl makes the best cards on the planet and she's lots of fun. Plus she has two of the sweetest pups ever and I'm a sucker for cute animal photos!
7. Beth -- the most organized scrapper I know and incredibly talented at that -- always an inspiration! (And today is her birthday -- so happy, happy birthday to you Miss Beth!)
8. Suzanna -- another awesome scrapbooker & friend -- love to see her work and to read about what her darling little boys are doing to keep Suzanna on her toes! ;)
9. Jayne -- a sweet friend and someone who has the ability to find the wackiest, craziest things on the internet! LOL I always know I will find something to smile about on her blog!
10. Mary Jo -- another sweetie who has two darling little kiddos -- I especially love when she shares art by her son (you will find some if you visit her today!) :)
If I had more time I would add many more of you! And for those of you I did list, if you don't want to pass on the tag -- I will understand! I know tagging is not everyone's favorite thing! LOL
Okay -- my kids are home today, so I guess I should get my behind out of this computer chair, eh?
