"I See God!"

The past few weeks, when we're up early in the morning and it's not too cloudy to see the sun rise, my little guy will run to the window and see the sun rising and exclaim, "I see God!"

I have no idea where he got this -- we have never prompted him to say it and honestly, he doesn't even talk much. So why he proclaims such a thing I really can't say. But I have to agree with him -- seeing a beautiful sunrise surely is a sign of God in my book and every time he says it, I smile and get a little lump in my throat. It is truly one of the sweetest things ever!

Enjoy your weekend!

Ooooh, that is *SO* sweet, Rita!! Brought a smile to my face to think of his sweet little face saying that! Thanks for sharing!

That is such a sweet thing to read. Don't worry about him not talking too much, obviously the quality of his words will be more important than the quantity if this little phrase is anything to go by.

How sweet! That is adorable. I love it when kids shock you by coming up with these things - it's great! And I totally agree with him, too! :)

I would have to agree with the boy (even though I prefer to sleep in, those sunrises can be wonderful!)

That is so sweet!! When I was little my grandfather always told me that the sun rays shining thru the clouds were stairs to Heaven. I have told Brett that and now in the mornings on the way to work when we see them he says "Look Momma, I see the stairs to Heaven". I love it! Kids are amazing!!
