Who Can It Be Now??

(Did my title get that song stuck in your head -- you know the one -- "Who can it be knockin' at my door...go away...don't come 'round here no more...") Yes, it's another one of my 80s song references...whatever happened to Men At Work I wonder.

Moving on...

I feel like blogging, but have absolutely no idea what about, so first, I will share some funny photos of my youngest. I seem to be giving him the most face time on my blog these days, but really...who can resist when he poses like this for me???

First, he poses with Harry Potter glasses -- but I think he looks much more like the chicken hawk from Foghorn Leghorn cartoons -- what do you think??

Next up, he is modeling the Incredible Hulk hands that are nearly as big as he is and giving me his best Hulk roar.

Finally, he decided to just plain look cute for a moment...

This little boy just makes me smile (and he also makes me insanely crazy much of the time with his non-stop energetic ways, but I'm sure he just doesn't want me to be bored!)

Speaking of this boy -- he has a lovely fat lip today. His little lip made full force contact with my older son's head last night and it wasn't pretty. My oldest son felt so bad! And speaking of my oldest son -- he fell at the splash park we were playing at today and smacked his head on the cement. Scared the heck out of me. I hate when they hit their heads -- it's scary not knowing if they injured anything inside! But he seems fine so far and my friends
Alice and Wendy were there to help me doctor him up and make sure he was alright (thanks girls!) Not to be outdone, my daughter began counting the scratches and bruises on her arms and legs today and she came up with something ridiculous like 15 or 18. (For the record -- ten of those are on each of her toes from the swimming pool we go to -- the pool just messes up your feet!)

I do not think I will be winning any Mother of the Year awards this week. ((sigh))

And since some of you seemed to get a kick out of my last post about the cheese and fireworks store -- I had to share one more photo. It looks like the cheese/firework/gift/gas mart has a mascot. Why oh why does this just crack me up??

Enjoy your weekend!

Your kiddos are cuties. I think my boys have counted scars a few times too, crazy children.

You see those cheese and mouse "mascots" all over the place up here....should be cows and cheese, what are they thinking?? I can actually probably take a photo of a cow with cheese come to think of it....you need to head up thiss far north next time you are in the state, I show you some interesting things....lol...oh and a margarita or 5.

Its funny how you can start out not knowing what to blog about but somehow it all happens. Love that store. I have a photo to post, found a Stop & Shop(local grocery chain here in New England) with fireworks. Cracked us up. Cute pics of the munchkin.

The song is officialy stuck in my head.

I prefer Harry Potter over The Hulk.

I am glad that Ryan is o.k.

And mom's of the year's HAVE to have children with bruises and scratches, otherwise, you would be one of THOSE mom's that never let your kids do anything.

Love the mouse...doesn't everyone want to give a mouse as a gift?

He cracks me up! Hope he had a great birthday in spite of being stuck in the car!
And I know what you mean about head injuries. Erin fell out of a small shopping cart at Michael's and about gave me a heart attack. Thank goodness I broke her fall, but I was in a real panic!
And you still get to be mom of the year to me :0)
